ALLOGAMES

Privacy policy

In force as of 3 October 2026

AlloGames is a social network for video games: you keep your collection there, share your opinion, vote in events, chat, and sell your games. This page says what the app keeps about you, why, where, and what you can do about it.

In one sentence. We keep what makes up the app (your collection, your reviews, your messages) with a European host, we sell nothing to anyone, and the ads you see are not personalised: they rely on no data about you.

Without an account

The app works without signing up. Your collection, your ratings and your review drafts then stay on your device and disappear if you delete the app.

The pages you open only feed anonymous statistics. The trending charts do not use them: they are computed from what signed-in members do, a rating, a review, a game added to a collection. The screens you open only feed the audience measurement described below, which does not know who you are and which you can opt out of. Ads are shown without an account too, under the conditions described below.

With an account

Signing in goes through Sign in with Apple or Google. We receive an identifier specific to AlloGames and your email address: the relay address, if you choose to hide yours. Never your password.

Your public identity, on the other hand, is yours to build when you arrive: a handle, which is your profile's address and is chosen only once, and a display name, which you can change whenever you like. The welcome screen suggests some, based on what Apple or Google sent us; nothing forces you to keep them.

We then store what makes up the app itself:

Location

It is requested for one thing only: finding listings near you. It is optional, refusing it blocks nothing else, and it is never stored on our servers. The search happens when you run it.

Advertising

The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. They are requested in non-personalised mode: no advertising profile is built, no tracking identifier is used, and the app never asks for permission to track you, because it does not.

Google receives the technical data needed to show an ad: the device model, the system version, the language and an approximate country derived from the network address. Their use is governed by Google's privacy policy.

AlloGames Plus removes all ads. The subscription is managed by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and the state of your subscription. Payment never goes through us: it is handled by the App Store or Google Play, and we see no banking data.

Imports

You can import a Steam, PlayStation or Xbox library. The data read is used to find the games in our catalogue and add them to your collection. We keep neither your login details for these services nor the original file.

Notifications and crashes

If you accept notifications, we keep the token your phone gives us to send them. It goes away when you turn notifications off in your device settings.

Crashes are reported to Sentry so they can be fixed. A report holds the technical state of the app at the time of the crash, not the content of what you write in it.

Audience measurement

To find out where the app is hard to understand (a welcome step people give up on, an import that fails, a search that finds nothing), we measure how it is used with PostHog, hosted in the European Union. What is sent:

This measurement is anonymous. It relies on an identifier drawn at random when the app is installed, which is never linked to your account and is renewed every thirteen months. Your IP address is discarded on receipt, and no profile is built. The data is only used to produce statistics to improve AlloGames: it is not combined with anything else, not passed on to anyone, not used for advertising, and kept for twenty-five months at most.

You can opt out at any time, with or without an account: Settings → Audience measurement, in the menu or on your profile. Once the switch is off, nothing more is sent.

Where this lives

The database is hosted by Supabase, in the European Union. Images are stored on Cloudflare R2: profile pictures, background photos and listing photos. The game catalogue comes from IGDB, which receives nothing about you: we only read their catalogue. Audience measurement is handled by PostHog, in the European Union.

What is public

Your handle, display name, picture, background photo, bio, showcase, reviews, public lists, rankings, listings and quiz scores are visible to other players. That is the point of a logbook you share.

Never visible: your email address, your private messages, your ballots, and your location.

What we do not do

Deleting your account

In the app: Profile → My account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and requires no email. It removes your profile, your reviews, your lists, your messages, your listings and your votes.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, its correction, its erasure or its portability, and object to its processing. Write to prismago.app@gmail.com; we answer within thirty days. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Children

AlloGames is for people aged 13 and over, and we do not knowingly collect data from a younger child. Under 15, parental consent is required in France. Selling between players is reserved for adults.

Changes

Any change will be published here with its effective date. A substantial change will be flagged inside the app.
